Santa Run

Riders, Runners, et al.
Here's a message from Fred and Vance. This event will be an example of living "it's better to give than receive."Merry Christmas everyone, please mark your calendars for Saturday December 20th for the first ever tri training run and good cheer spreading. The idea behind this is to get our group of runners, cyclist, and triathletes together for some holiday cheer and spreading some good cheer through random acts of kindness. We ask that all participants bring either cash or gift cards that will be given away randomly to anyone you see throughout our "run" (little kid, people stopped at traffic lights, someone waiting on a bus, etc.) There is no set amount for anyone, just do what you can or just come along for the fellowship. Most are planning a little note attached to the currency denomination or gift card wishing the recipient a merry Christmas and asking them to pass the good cheer forward. Everyone is encouraged to wear Santa hats or other Christmas garb. We will meet at the new courthouse steps downtown Anderson at 9:00 and start to run from there. The whole "workout" will probably last about one hour or until all the good cheer has been given away. Please respond to this e-mail and let us know if you plan to participate and also invite anyone who is not on this list that you think would enjoy this.Like they said, pass this along to others who you know.
