Saturday Ride 3-8-08
Riders,
Hopefully, Mother Nature will move this liquid sunshine out of our area so you can ride... yes, tomorrow is about YOU... cuz I'm out of town for this one... but, there WILL be a group of riders leaving New Spring Church parking lot at 8:59AM for the SVR (Saturday Velo Ride)... The route remains the same with options available for those who show up to ride..
Good news for this weekend, AFTER we adjust for losing an hour of sleep we can ride in the evening... Historically, the TNR begins the first Tuesday after the time change... ride starts in Pendleton at 6PM for ~27 miles.
Here's a new website to checkout.... the tri club is up and running... and the Anderson Y is hosting the Anderson Y Triathlon on 4-6-08... join in the fun...

I'm attempting to improve the digital pics.. no more family vacations... this is a pic of a local nameless( or is that wheel-less) rider who got "bit" by the bike!!!! I guess he knows why they call them "teeth" on the chainring..what I don't understand is HOW did that happen??? we'll just have to guess...

If you send me a photo, we can post on the blog for everyone to enjoy... you can scan in old historical documents (the ones that are museum quality) I'll try to post... we might have to photo-shop them to make them a little more current, but we'll give it the old "college tri"...
Enjoy the ride... and SOMEONE post a ride report....
