First Ride for March

Riders,

Great ride last weekend… and we’re hoping for more of the same for this Saturday. According to the weather folks, the weekend is suppose to be “spectacular”… WOW…when is the last time you heard that!!!!

So, join us for a spectacular SVR this Saturday… the group meets in the parking lot of New Spring for wheels to roll on or about 9am… The question to answer is… will the route include “the rollers” or NOT!!! Hmmm the ride is about 42+ miles...

For this ride, we’ll miss some of the regulars…. Who will cross the border into Georgia to run a marathon… as I understand it… “the Snicker’s Marathon”… (side note: just the mention of Snickers brings out the hunger in me… not a hunger to run… but a hunger for chocolate, nougat, peanuts, and caramel... but, I'll take chicken and rice....

Best of luck to Ryno, Mr & Mrs Kidd-D, The Ghost and anyone else going running in Ga.

For me, I’m going to stick to riding… at least for now.

Fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me... well, actually I fooled myself twice... I over-dressed last weekend... which makes 2 weekends in a row... so, for this Saturday... I wearing a vest and arm warmers... that should be just about right...

another note... someone brought to my attention that the SVR has gotten out of control... so, it appears the only thing for sure... is we leave at 0900... we re-group at Mac's... again on the square in P-ton... after that... who knows what's going to happen... regular route vs Simms Mill vs Clemson vs return via TNR ride over vs Fants Grove vs La France Double-back vs Lebanon reverse... so, just give a shout out to declare your intentions...
